Benjamin Student Council 2016-2017

Welcome to the Student Council information page! On here, you will find out what Student Council is currently working on and upcoming projects. Please bookmark this site at home so you have access to meeting dates, special activities, important documents, etc. In case you forget something (as we all do), you have this website to help you out!

Benjamin Student Council is a very active group. We have our executive board meeting on select Tuesday mornings and  full council meetings on select Wednesday mornings. Listen to announcements for up and coming meetings and events! We follow the parliament procedure and some students get trained at the Illinois Association of Junior High Student Council (IAJHSC) camp every summer. (You may join Student Council even if you have not attended camp!)

Student Council has seven committees that work hard on projects throughout the year. projects include, fundraisers, teacher appreciation days, dances, a can food drive, contests, lucky locker lotto, workshops, convention, reward trips, bulletin boards, spirit days, Academic Awards, Teacher Luncheons and much, much more.

Benjamin is very proud of our Student Council and they have been a great success for many years!
