Dear Parents and Staff,
Recently you received communication that the e-Learning day option would be effective starting Friday, February 1. Since the bitter cold weather is forecast for Wednesday, we are moving the e-Learning option starting date two days earlier. Using the e-Learning option will count as a student day so we will not have to make up the school closure day at the end of the school year.
If school has to be canceled on Wednesday, you will be notified on Tuesday. Students in grades K-3 will receive a hard copy of learning activities on Tuesday to be completed within seven school days. On Wednesday morning the same learning activities will be sent via e-mail blast for each grade level to ensure each student has the learning activities. If we are out more than one day, additional activities will be sent via e-mail to continue student learning.
Students in grade 4-8 will receive the learning activities via Canvas, and some students also may receive a hard copy depending upon the type of the learning activities. These students will have seven school days to complete the learning activities.
Please contact Mrs. Pfanenstiel, Mr. Fitzgerald, Mr. Martin, or Dr. Ehrhardt if you have any questions. Thank you for your support for this new learning option.
