Welcome to Evergreen School!
I would like to personally welcome
you to the 2008-2009 school year.
Whether you are new to one of our
schools or have been a part of
Benjamin District #25 in the past,
you are important to the educational
program we offer our students.
Evergreen School originally was built in 1974 and named Morton Road School.
The school was surrounded by open fields and the road in front was gravel.
Over the years, our community has grown. Three additions have been
added to the building since first opening. The last building addition,
completed in the fall of 1997, includes 11 new classrooms, a computer lab
and a new gymnasium, which is shared with the Carol Stream Park District.
Our school population is 430 students pre-school through 4th
grade. We also offer a before
school/after school daycare and
extended day program through Pals
Care, Inc.
At Evergreen School, we strive to
work as a team to initiate and
accomplish tasks. We rely on parental
support through volunteering and
assisting students in reaching
academic goals. Teachers implement
strong communication skills with
colleagues, students and parents to
develop a true learning community.
Through our website, we hope you’ll
learn many things about our school.
If you have any suggestions, please
